The 12th round of the second phase of China-South Korea Free Trade Agreement (FTA) negotiations was held in Seoul, South Korea, from Monday to Friday, China's Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) said on Friday.
Both sides held in-depth discussions on cross-border services trade, investment, financial services, and negative list market access, achieving positive progress, it added.
The China-South Korea FTA, in effect since December 20, 2015, has significantly boosted bilateral trade and investment. According to the ministry, both parties remain committed to achieving a high level of liberalization in services trade and investment through the ongoing second-phase negotiations.
