At the regular press conference of China’s Foreign Ministry on Wednesday, a reporter said Chinese beverage brands like Mixue Group and Chagee have recently gained attention for their overseas listings, and that many Chinese brands are expanding abroad and becoming new favorites among foreign consumers. Foreign media commented that Chinese products have moved beyond the era of imitating Western brands, and the reporter asked how the spokesperson views this phenomenon.
对此,发言人毛宁表示,中国品牌凭借科技含量、文化底蕴、设计灵感以及融通中外的情感价值,正在赢得越来越多海外消费者青睐。“我想,从‘中国制造’到‘中国品牌’,是高质量发展的必然,得益于中国完整的产业体系、公平开放的市场环境和长期的创新研发。”
In response, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said that Chinese brands, with their technological innovation, cultural heritage, creative designs, and universal emotional appeal, are increasingly winning over overseas consumers. “I believe the transition from ‘Made in China’ to ‘Chinese Brands’ is an inevitable outcome of high-quality development, benefiting from China’s comprehensive industrial system, fair and open market environment, and sustained innovation and R&D,” Mao said.
毛宁称,中国品牌走向世界,给全球消费者提供了更丰富的选择,我们也欢迎更多外国优质品牌进入中国大市场,相互借鉴、共同发展,让各国的民众切实从经济全球化中受益。
Mao noted that Chinese brands going global provide richer choices for consumers worldwide. We also welcome more high-quality foreign brands to enter China’s vast market, fostering mutual learning and collective growth, so that people from all countries can genuinely benefit from economic globalization, she said.
