US chipmaker Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said on Wednesday at a media briefing in Beijing that his company strives to provide the best service to companies in China that they are allowed to — whether they are emerging startups or established enterprises.
He made the remarks when asked about whether he will consider cooperating with Chinese humanoid robot maker Unitree.
He added, "I wouldn't be surprised if Xiaomi has an amazing robot in the future, or BYD has an amazing robot in the future. There's a lot of development here [in China]."
When asked about the development potentials of China's humanoid robot AI industry, Huang said China is a very special place because China already has excellent AI technology, is extremely good at mechanical and electrical products, and a very large manufacturing base.
"These three conditions are very unique in China. So I'm very optimistic for robotics development here in China," said Huang.
