林剑对此表示，这些言论反映出美国一些政客典型的意识形态偏见和冷战零和思维。中方对此坚决反对，我们敦促美方客观理性看待中国和中美关系，以实际行动推动中美关系稳定、健康、可持续发展，而不是相反。

In response, Lin Jian stated that such comments reflect the typical ideological prejudice and cold war zero-sum mentality of some US politicians. China firmly opposes this. “We urge the US to view China and China-US relations objectively and rationally, and to take concrete steps to promote the stable, healthy, and sustainable development of bilateral ties, rather than the opposite,” Lin said.
