The Medium-sized Irrigation District in Jinghe county, in NW China's Xinjiang region, was chosen as one of the inaugural pilot projects for digital twin irrigation districts in 2022. With the implementation of a “smart brain,” farmers can now remotely manage irrigation and fertilization from their homes.
