对此，发言人毛宁表示，台湾问题是中国的内政，一个中国原则是中国同世界各国建立和发展外交关系的政治基础，是国际关系的基本准则和国际社会的广泛共识。要维护台海和平稳定，就必须旗帜鲜明地坚持一个中国原则，反对“台独”分裂行径。

In response, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said that the Taiwan question is China's internal affair. The one-China principle is the political foundation for China to establish and develop diplomatic relations with countries around the world, a basic norm of international relations, and a broad consensus within the international community. To safeguard peace and stability across the Taiwan Straits, it is essential to firmly uphold the one-China principle and oppose "Taiwan independence" separatist activities.

毛宁表示，当前东海、南海局势总体保持稳定。我们敦促有关方尊重地区国家通过对话协商解决问题、维护和平稳定的共同努力，而不是挑动矛盾、渲染紧张。

The situation in the East China Sea and South China Sea remains generally stable. "We urge relevant parties to respect the joint efforts of regional countries to resolve issues through dialogue and consultation and to safeguard peace and stability, rather than stoking confrontation or hyping up tensions," Mao said.
