大国底气，从“核”而来。在9月3日举行的纪念中国人民抗日战争暨世界反法西斯战争胜利80周年阅兵式上，东风-5C新型液体洲际战略核导弹首次亮相。相关专家在接受《环球时报》记者采访时表示，此次展示的东风-5C新型液体洲际战略核导弹射程覆盖全球，具有突防能力强，打击精度高的优势。

An expert told the Global Times that the new-type DF-5C liquid-fueled intercontinental strategic nuclear missile boasts a strike range covering the entire globe, and has advantages in defense penetration and precision.

首次亮相的东风-5C新型液体洲际战略核导弹，打击范围覆盖全球，全时戒备，有效威慑，以武止戈，砥定乾坤。

The newly debuted DF-5C liquid-fueled intercontinental strategic nuclear missile has the entire globe under its strike range. It stands on guard at all times to effectively deter, preventing wars through force and helping stabilize the world.

“此次展示的东风-5C新型液体洲际战略核导弹，综合了我国此前研发制造东风系列导弹的技术和经验，具有非凡的战略价值。”导弹技术、核军控专家杨承军教授在接受《环球时报》记者采访时介绍称，东风-5C导弹具有五个鲜明的特点：

"The DF-5C liquid-fueled intercontinental strategic nuclear missile integrated technologies and experiences throughout the development of China's previous DF series missiles. It provides significant strategic values," missile technology and nuclear disarmament expert Professor Yang Chengjun told the Global Times. Yang said that the DF-5C has five distinctive features.

首先是结构更新，整枚导弹通过三辆运输车分段运输进行展示。预计东风-5C的发射准备时间相较以前的东风-5系列导弹更短，反应更快。

First, it has a new structure, as the whole missile is transported in three sections by three transport vehicles. It is expected that the launch preparation time will be shorter than the previous DF-5 series missiles, with a faster response speed.

第二是射程更远，东风-5C导弹射程可以覆盖全球，这意味着世界上任何对中国构成实际核威胁的军事目标，中国都有能力和手段进行反击。

Second, it has a longer range, and is capable of covering the entire globe. This means that China has the capability and means to launch counterattacks on any military targets in the world that pose actual nuclear threats to China, Yang said.

杨承军教授进一步分析称，根据东风系列战略导弹此前的发展脉络，东风-5C导弹的第三个特点就是飞行速度快，作为一型射程覆盖全球的洲际战略弹道导弹，其飞行速度预计能达到几十马赫，这将大幅压缩了现有弹道导弹拦截系统的准备时间。

Based on the development of previous DF series strategic missiles, Yang said that the third feature is fast flight speed. As a strategic intercontinental ballistic missile that can cover the entire globe, its flight speed is estimated to reach tens of Mach, leaving contemporary ballistic missile interception systems with minimal time to prepare, said the expert.

第四个特点则是东风-5C导弹可以携带多个分导式弹头，而且可以实现核常兼备。杨承军教授认为，在此前东风系列洲际弹道导弹的研发过程中，我国已掌握成熟的分导式多弹头的技术，预计这一洲际弹道导弹的“标配”技术也将在东风-5C导弹中得以体现，“分导式弹头可以是核战斗部，也可以是常规战斗部，还可以是诱饵弹，这样就大幅增加了防御系统拦截的难度。”杨承军教授称。

Fourth, the DF-5C can carry multiple independently targetable reentry vehicles (MIRV), equipped with nuclear or conventional warheads, according to Yang. He believes that China has already mastered MIRV technologies in previous DF series intercontinental ballistic missiles, so this "standard" technology should also be equipped by the new DF-5C. "The MIRVs could be equipped with nuclear or conventional warheads, or decoys. This can greatly increase the challenges for defense systems to intercept," Yang said.

第五个特点就是制导精准。杨承军教授认为，洲际弹道导弹普遍会采用惯性制导系统和星光制导系统技术，结合我国自主研发的北斗定位系统，在综合运用多种制导方式之后，预计东风-5C导弹的打击精度会非常高，能取得媲美东风中近程弹道导弹的打击精度。

The fifth feature is guided precision. Yang said that intercontinental ballistic missiles generally use inertial guidance system and starlight guidance system technologies. Combined with China's independently developed BeiDou Navigation Satellite System, after comprehensively applying multiple guidance methods, the precision of the DF-5C is expected to be very high, with a similar precision of mid to short-range missiles in the DF series, the expert said.

手握战略重器，铸就和平盾牌。战略导弹武器是大国重器，也是维护国家安全的重要手段。杨承军教授认为，虽然此次阅兵式中我国集中展示了包括东风-5C在内的多款新型战略核打击利器，但它们与我国所推行的核战略是相符的。我国始终坚持自卫防御核战略，目的是遏制他国对中国使用或威胁使用核武器，确保国家战略安全。我国始终奉行在任何时候和任何情况下都不首先使用核武器、无条件不对无核武器国家和无核武器区使用或威胁使用核武器的核政策，主张最终全面禁止和彻底销毁核武器，不会与任何国家进行核军备竞赛，始终把自身核力量维持在国家安全需要的最低水平。

Holding strategic heavy weapons means forging a shield of peace. Strategic missiles are important weapons for major powers and a crucial means of safeguarding national security. Yang said that while multiple new-type strategic nuclear strike weapons, including the DF-5C, are comprehensively displayed at the military parade, they are consistent with China's nuclear strategy. China has always adhered to a nuclear strategy that is defensive in nature, with the aim of deterring other countries from using or threatening to use nuclear weapons against China and ensuring national strategic security. China has always adhered to the nuclear policy of not being the first to use nuclear weapons at any time and under any circumstances, and unconditionally not using or threatening to use nuclear weapons against non-nuclear weapon states and nuclear weapon free zones. “这些战略型号的亮相意义非常重大，首先是告诫国人不能忘记历史，其次就是提醒我们不能忽视现实威胁，目前我们所面临的安全形势依然复杂严峻。而通过这次阅兵也展示出我们国家应对外部威胁的军事手段在不断的发展和丰富。”杨承军教授称。
