On September 4, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun held the routine press conference. A reporter from Bloomberg said US President Donald Trump had accused “Chinese, Russian and North Korean leaders of conspiring against the US,” and asked what’s the comment from the Chinese side. 

郭嘉昆表示，中方邀请外国嘉宾来华出席有关活动，是为了纪念中国人民抗日战争暨世界反法西斯战争胜利80周年，是为了携手爱好和平的国家和人民共同铭记历史、缅怀先烈、珍爱和平、开创未来。

The foreign ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said China invited foreign guests to attend the events in Beijing to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. The purpose was to join peace-loving countries and peoples in remembering history, honoring those who sacrificed their lives, cherishing peace, and looking to the future. 

郭嘉昆还称，“中国发展同任何国家的外交关系，从来不针对第三方。”

China’s development of diplomatic relations with any country has never been targeted at any third party, Guo said. 

特朗普发表涉九三阅兵言论，中方回应

Also, the US President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that China’s parade should have highlighted the role the US played in ending the Pacific War, what’s the comment of this? 

郭嘉昆对此表示，关于你提到的第一个问题，建议向中方的主管部门进行询问。关于你提到的第二个问题，9月3日上午，中方隆重举行纪念中国人民抗日战争暨世界反法西斯战争胜利80周年大会。习近平主席在讲话中强调，中国人民以巨大的民族牺牲，为拯救人类文明、保卫世界和平作出了重大贡献。同时，习近平主席向支援和帮助过中国人民抵抗侵略的外国政府和国际友人表示衷心感谢。

Guo said that, regarding the first question, the reporter is advised to consult the competent Chinese authorities. 

Regarding the second question, on the morning of September 3, China solemnly held a conference marking the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War.

In his speech, President Xi Jinping emphasized that the Chinese people made a major contribution to the salvation of human civilization and the defense of world peace with immense sacrifice in the war. At the same time, President Xi expressed heartfelt gratitude to the foreign governments and international friends who supported and assisted the Chinese people in resisting aggression.
