在9月8日外交部例行记者会上，有记者提问称，外交部网站公布了对日本参议员石平采取反制措施的决定，请问发言人有何进一步评论？

At the Foreign Ministry’s regular press conference on September 8, a reporter asked: The Foreign Ministry website announced the countermeasures against Japanese Senator Seki Hei. Do you have any further comment?

对此，发言人林剑表示，石平曾拥有中国国籍。他赴日并取得日本国籍后，大肆散布虚假信息，同日本反华势力沆瀣一气，大肆攻击抹黑中国，在台湾、钓鱼岛、历史、涉藏、涉疆、涉港等问题上发表极端消极言论，当选国会议员后公然参拜靖国神社，严重违背中日四个政治文件精神和一个中国原则，严重干涉中国内政，严重损害中国主权和领土完整。针对石平上述恶劣行径，中方决定即日起对其采取反制措施。

In response, Lin said that Seki once held Chinese nationality. After moving to Japan and acquiring Japanese nationality, he colluded with anti-China forces there, launching vicious attacks and smears against China. He made extremely negative remarks on issues related to Taiwan, the Diaoyu Dao, history, Xizang, Xinjiang, and Hong Kong. After being elected to the National Diet of Japan, he openly visited the Yasukuni Shrine. These actions gravely violate the spirit of the four political documents between China and Japan and the one-China principle, seriously interfere in China’s internal affairs, and severely undermine China’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. In response to such egregious actions, China has decided to impose countermeasures effective immediately, said Lin. 

我要指出的是，石平为了一己私利数典忘祖、出卖良知，勾连反华势力挑衅滋事。中方的反制措施是对石平之流的强力惩戒和严厉警示，卖祖求荣只会自食恶果。

Lin added that Seki, for his own selfish interests, has betrayed his roots, sold his conscience, and colluded with anti-China forces to stir up trouble. China’s countermeasures are a strong punishment and stern warning to such individuals. Those who seek personal gain at the cost of betraying their ancestors will inevitably reap the bitter consequences, said Lin.
