据路透社报道，菲律宾外交部周四（11日）表示，对中国计划在黄岩岛建立国家级自然保护区表示“强烈抗议”。

According to a Reuters report, the Philippine government claimed on Thursday it "strongly protests" China's plan to establish a national nature reserve in Huangyan Dao.

对于上述消息，在9月11日举行的中国外交部例行记者会上，外交部发言人林剑在回应外媒记者“中方对此有何回应”的提问时表示，黄岩岛是中国的固有领土，建立黄岩岛国家级自然保护区是中方主权范围内的事，旨在保护黄岩岛的生态环境，维护黄岩岛自然生态系统多样性、稳定性、持续性，符合中国国内法和国际法，也充分体现中方作为负责任大国，积极保护生态环境，推动实现可持续发展的使命担当。

At the Chinese Foreign Ministry’s regular press conference on September 11, when asked for comment, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian stated that “Huangyan Dao is China’s inherent territory. The establishment of the Huangyan Dao national nature reserve falls entirely within China’s sovereignty and is aimed at protecting the ecological environment of Huangyan Dao, maintaining the diversity, stability and sustainability of its natural ecological system. This move is in line with China’s domestic law and international law, and it fully demonstrates China, as a responsible major country, is actively protecting the ecological environment and promoting sustainable development, Lin said.

“菲律宾的领土范围早已由一系列国际条约确定，黄岩岛从来不在其中，中方不接受菲方的无理指责和所谓的‘抗议’，敦促菲方切实停止有关侵权挑衅和肆意炒作，避免给海上局势增添复杂因素。”林剑说。

“The scope of the Philippines’ territory has long been defined by a series of international treaties, and Huangyan Dao has never been part of it. China does not accept the Philippines’ unreasonable accusations or so-called protests, and urges the Philippines to immediately stop its infringements, provocations, and reckless hype to avoid adding complicating factors to the maritime situation,” said Lin.
