对此，中国外交部发言人林剑表示，中方坚决反对以色列升级在加沙军事行动，谴责一切伤害平民、违反国际法的行为，对局势进一步紧张升级深感担忧，反对有关方面拱火浇油。

In response, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian stated that China firmly opposes Israel’s escalation of military operations in Gaza, condemns all actions that harm civilians and violate international law, is deeply concerned about the further escalation of tensions, and opposes relevant parties fanning the flames to exacerbate the conflict.

Lin stated "we urge Israel to heed the strong calls of the international community, immediately cease military operations in Gaza, achieve a comprehensive and lasting ceasefire as soon as possible, and prevent a larger-scale humanitarian crisis. We hope that all relevant parties will prioritize regional peace and stability, uphold a fair stance and responsible attitude, and earnestly play a constructive role in promoting the de-escalation of the situation."
