When asked to comment on Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry updating its export control End-User List—adding multiple Chinese companies while removing two—the spokesperson for China's Ministry of Commerce said on Monday that China firmly opposed the move and urged Japan to immediately halt the wrongdoing.

"Japan, without factual basis, has unreasonably added Chinese companies to the list, harming the interests of enterprises in both countries," the spokesperson said.

Regarding Japan's removal of two Chinese companies from the list, "this is in line with the common interests of both sides, and China welcomes it. China is willing to strengthen communication with Japan and work toward removing more Chinese companies from the list," the spokesperson added.
