China welcomes and supports all efforts conducive to easing tensions between Palestine and Israel, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said at a press briefing on Tuesday, in response to a media inquiry regarding the new 20-point plan to end the war in Gaza.
