A full moon appeared in Beijing on October 7, one day after the Mid-Autumn festival. Just as an old Chinese saying goes: “the moon on the sixteenth is rounder than on the fifteenth.” Mid-Autumn Festival falls annually on the fifteenth day of the eighth month in the Chinese lunar calendar.
