A post recently went viral saying that Chinese restaurant chain Xibei has changed the logo of its Beijing Wanda Plaza outlet in Shijingshan district from a red-and-white design to a white-and-green one, with its slogan updated to "I come from the grassland" in Chinese.

A salesperson from Xibei, which previously drew public attention over whether it used pre-made dishes, confirmed the change to the Global Times but declined to provide further explanations.

In response to questions from the media about the reason behind the logo change and whether it would be rolled out nationwide, Xibei's founder Jia Guolong said, "This is only a small-scale experiment and will not be expanded to all stores. Maybe in the future, one or two outlets in major cities will use the new slogan and logo, similar to how Starbucks has its Reserve and factory stores."

Since mid-September, when Xibei faced widespread public attention over the "pre-made dishes" controversy, its sales have been severely affected. The Global Times learned that the restaurant chain is now seeking to restore its image by offering consumption vouchers and making adjustments to some dishes.
