Asked to comment on US President Donald Trump's claims that the US could further restrict the export of aircraft components to China as a form of threat, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said on Tuesday that China's stance on handling economic and trade issues with the US has been consistent and clear. Tariff wars and trade wars are not in the interest of either side. Both parties should resolve relevant issues through consultations on the basis of equality, respect, and mutual benefit, Guo said.
