Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun

When asked which Chinese representative will attend the ASEAN Summit scheduled to be held in Kuala Lumpur on October 26, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Guo Jiakun said at a press conference on Wednesday that China attaches great importance to its relations with ASEAN and East Asian cooperation, and supports Malaysia in fulfilling its duties as the rotating chair of ASEAN. 

"Regarding the specific question, you are probably aware of China's usual practice for such events. We will release relevant information in due course," Guo said.
