Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun

When asked about a possible meeting between the Chinese and US leaders in South Korea, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Guo Jiakun told a press conference on Monday that the Chinese and US sides are maintaining close communication regarding the meeting between the two heads of state. 

If there is further information, the Chinese side will release it in a timely manner, Guo said.
