On November 27, Hong Kong society worked together to fully support residents affected by the Tai Po District fire. Efforts progressed in a tense yet orderly atmosphere. Outside multiple temporary shelters in Hong Kong, a number of citizens volunteered spontaneously to aid those impacted by the disaster.
