在12月15日外交部例行记者会上，有记者提问称，明年1月末，日本上野动物园的两只大熊猫将回到中国，日本国内将出现没有大熊猫的情况，日本民众非常喜欢大熊猫，希望今后继续向中方租借大熊猫。请问中方有计划与日本进行大熊猫保护国际合作吗？

对此，发言人郭嘉昆表示， “关于你提到的具体问题，建议向中方主管部门进行询问。”
