The success stories of US companies in China demonstrate that cooperation benefits both sides in the China-US relationship, and that promoting stable, healthy, and sustainable development of China-US relations is in the common interest of both sides, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said on Monday, when asked to comment on a recent survey released by the American Chamber of Commerce in China, which showed that more than half of surveyed US firms expect to be profitable in 2025, over 70 percent do not consider shift their China operations and nearly 60 percent plan to expand investment in China.

Also commenting on latest data that showed China's GDP grew 5 percent in 2025 and multiple international financial institutions indicated that China's super large market and innovative production capability would continue to draw address foreign capital, Guo said that China's super large market presents a tremendous global opportunity, and strategic investment in China means gaining a competitive edge and reaping substantial returns.

This year marks the start of the 15th Five-Year Plan. China's economy is poised for takeoff, its momentum is upgrading, and it will continue to provide the world economy with a "stable engine," a "growth oasis," and a "cradle of innovation," Guo noted.

"We welcome companies from all countries, including the US, to seize the 'opportunity list' of China's high-quality development and share the 'super dividends' of its trillion-dollar market," he said.
