Commenting on a media inquiry citing reports stating that Nexperia's China entity issued a customer notice on Friday saying that recently Nexperia B.V. has implemented a mass disabling of office accounts of all employees in China, which resulted in the inability to access key office environment and caused significant disruption to Nexperia operations in China, a spokesperson for China’s Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) said on Saturday that the ministry has taken note of the reports.

With facilitation by both China and the Netherlands, Wingtech Technology and Nexperia B.V. are negotiating an internal corporate dispute, but the B.V. mass disabling of office accounts for all employees in China at this time stirred up new conflicts and created new difficulties and obstacles for those negotiations, said the MOFCOM spokesperson.

China has always taken a responsible attitude toward the global semiconductor production and supply chain. What Nexperia B.V. has done seriously undermines normal production and operations. If it were to trigger another global semiconductor supply-chain crisis, the Dutch side must bear full responsibility, according to the ministry.
