"It is the first time the 'smart economy' has been mentioned; I think it is very forward-looking," said XPeng CEO He Xiaopeng, who is also a deputy to the 14th National People's Congress. “The report discusses how to integrate technological innovation with industrial innovation. I believe this can leverage China's systemic, economic, and institutional advantages," He said.
