As agreed by both China and the US, Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng, also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, will lead a delegation to France from March 14 to 17 to hold economic and trade consultations with the US side, a spokesperson from China's Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) said on Friday.
The remarks were made when responding to a question on the latest information as the Chinese side previously said that China and the US will hold the sixth round of China-US economic and trade consultations in the near future.
The MOFCOM spokesperson noted that the two sides will be guided by the important consensus reached at the leaders’ meeting in Busan between the two countries’ heads of state and their subsequent phone calls, and will engage in discussions on economic and trade issues of mutual concern.
