3月19日，外交部发言人林剑主持例行记者会。会上有记者提问称，据报道，伊朗最高国家安全委员会秘书拉里贾尼在以色列袭击中遇难。以色列防长卡茨称，他同内塔尼亚胡总理共同决定，授权以军无需批准即可击杀任何伊朗官员。请问中方对此有何评论？

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian presided over a regular press conference on March 19. A journalist asked: According to reports, Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, was killed in Israeli strikes. Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz claimed that he and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have authorized the IDF to eliminate any senior Iranian official without the need for additional approval. What is China’s comment?

林剑表示，中方对这一说法感到震惊，我们一贯反对在国际关系中使用武力，杀害伊朗国家领导人和攻击平民目标的行径更不可接受。当前中东地区战火延烧，紧张局势升级外溢。尽快停火止战是国际社会普遍愿望。中方敦促当事方立即停止军事行动，防止将地区局势推向不可收拾的地步。

Lin Jian said that China is shocked by such claim. “We consistently oppose the use of force in international relations. The killing of Iranian state leaders and attacks on civilian targets are all the more unacceptable,” Lin said. 

Lin said at present, war is raging in the Middle East and tensions are escalating and spilling over. An early ceasefire and cessation of hostilities are the common aspiration of the international community, Lin added.

China urges the parties concerned to immediately cease military actions and prevent the regional situation from spiraling out of control, Lin said.
