It has been three days since a member of the Japan Self-Defense Forces intruded into the Chinese Embassy in Tokyo, wielding a knife and threatening to kill Chinese diplomats. And so far, the Japanese government hasn’t even offered a proper apology, and its response has merely been "very regrettable”. Why hasn't Japan apologized for this incident?
