The current “Champions League” in terms of competitive intensity for the automotive industry is in China, Ola Källenius, CEO of Mercedes-Benz Group, said at 2026 China Development Forum, adding that Benz will launch more than two dozen new-energy vehicles in the next 24 to 30 months in China, the most competitive and dynamic automotive market.
