Japan recently deployed long-range counterstrike missiles for the 1st time. Japan’s SDF – long supposed to be armed only with shield – is now rapidly arming itself with sharp spears. Under the guise of “peace” and “defense,” the country is transforming from a pacifist state to a militarist power. This is swimming against the tide of history, and gambling with its national fate again.
