As Qingming Festival, or Tomb-Sweeping Day, approaches, Chinese people have come spontaneously to pay their respects at CPC undercover agent Wu Shi’s tomb in Beijing. The ashes of another covert frontline hero, Chen Lin, arrived from Taiwan Island on March 27. Spokesperson for the State Council Taiwan Affairs Office Zhang Han made remarks on Wednesday that the heroes’ brave deeds will not be forgotten by the people and by history.
