Mozambican President Daniel Chapo and his delegation visited Banyan village, Huzhu Tu Autonomous County in NW China's Qinghai Province on Sunday. He exchanged gifts with the villagers and said “thank you” in Putonghua. The president’s visit to China runs from April 16 to 22. It is the first state visit to China by a Mozambican head of state in 10 years, and it is also President Chapo’s first visit to China since taking office, according to media reports.
