Iran’s Mahan Air on Thursday announced that it will resume passenger flights between Iran and China starting Sunday.

Effective April 26, 2026, the airline will gradually resume passenger flight operations between Iran and China. The flight schedule from April 26 to May 25, has been released in advance, and subsequent flight information will be announced separately, according to a statement released on Mahan Air’s official WeChat account.
 
Mahan Air operates direct passenger routes between Tehran Imam Khomeini International Airport and major Chinese cities, including Shanghai, Guangzhou and Beijing, according to flight information attached to the statement.

A customer service representative told the Global Times that bookings are now open.
