An explosion at a fireworks company in Liuyang, Central China’s Hunan Province, claimed three lives and left 25 others injured, two of them in severe conditions, as of 7 pm on Monday, Xinhua reported. The blast occurred at around 4:43 pm the same day, according to the local emergency management bureau cited by Xinhua. Rescue operations are ongoing.
