Painting brings dried leaves back to life

Indian artist Sandesh Rangnekar uses watercolor to paint detailed portraits on delicate, dried peepal leaves. Before Sandesh can begin painting, each dried leaf requires 35-40 days to painstakingly prepare, and the potraits themselves require a full day to carefully complete. Following in his father's footsteps, Sandesh honed his painting skills from a young age, to the point where he can now create a number of astonishing works portraying famous celebrities in the tradition of his forebears.
