Chery to launch QQme on TV

Chery will publicize its QQme June 26 on Hunan TV. Some Chery dealers in Changsha, the capital of Hunan Province, have the small cars in their showrooms.

The QQme is a four-seater, two-door minicar, measuring 3.75m x 1.6m x 1.5m, with a 2.3m wheelbase. It has a 1.3-liter gasoline engine, which generates a peak power of 62kW. It also has many safety features such as airbag, ABS+EBD, and reversing radar. QQme comes in five colors, and its price is from 40,000 to 60,000 yuan.

Chery's QQ series reached sales of 16,055 units in March. Chery hopes QQme will enhance the brand QQ's image.
