Geely hits 55% sales increase in first four months

Geely announced today that the company sold 32,441 units in April, up 24.7 percent from a year earlier, and 7.2 percent month-on-month. During the first four months of 2010, the company sold 135,279 units, an increase of 55.1 percent year-on-year.
The automaker said it has accomplished 38 percent of its sales target for this year which is 400,000 units.
The best-selling models so far have been the Free Cruiser, Kingkong, and Vision. Emgrand sold 5,414 units amounting to an increase of 25 percent month-on-month.
Geely said the company is confident in keeping a continual and sustainable growth and also revealed that 5 new models will be launched this year.
