New shots of BMW X3

A sneak preview of BMW's latest X3 prototype was put on motorauthority.com, shots of the car carrying out some final tests in Germany.
The latest images show a compact SUV covered up in an elaborate design with finished headlights tail lights, slightly expanded dimensions for added interior space and more X5-like styling.

The engine will remain basically the same with the current version, with a choice of four diesel engines ranging from 177hp (132kW) to 299hp (223kW), and most markets getting the option of two gas engines rated at 231hp (172kW) and 306hp (228kW).

A new hybrid model may come out, though specifications are still pending.
