The 2009 Race of Champions (ROC) will begin in Beijing's Bird's Nest on November 2 and run until November 4. It is the first time the ROC comes to China.

Eighteen of the top racecar drivers in the world, such as Michael Schumacher and Jenson Butten will compete in the races.

The Bird's Nest was transformed into a racing circuit Wednesday, with a manmade bridge built especially for the ROC. Construction on the race track began on October 22, and it will be the largest, widest and fastest race track in the history of ROC.
