Four people have been killed and six others injured, two of them seriously, in a chemical plant explosion in South China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on Tuesday, local authorities said.

The explosion happened at around 11:15 am in Luchuan county in the city of Yulin, the city's emergency management bureau said.
