Popular online forums at Tianya and Mop have been reporting on a man who rented a huge LED billboard outside the Beijing West Railway Station to play video games just to show how big  he could make the experience.

Posts on the forums indicated  the man had felt bad as a result of his girlfriend looking down on him for not being able to accomplish anything.

To show his girlfriend that he was not just an ordinary guy and he could make an impression on the world, he rented a LED billboard a week ago, plugged his notebook into it with the huge display, and played a 3D car racing video game for half an hour while people nearby gazed in awe and amazement.

It was discovered that the billboard did not belong to the train station, but to  an advertising company, which said the board is available for anyone to rent. The company confirmed it rented the billboard to a man so he could play a video game, but did not disclose the amount of the rental fee.
