"We are Inside" by Yu Ping @ Sednair Art Center

A solo exhibition by Yu Ping entitled "We Are Inside" has opened at the Sednair Art Center. A 1999 graduate from the Hubei Institute of Fine Arts, Yu is an associate professor at her alma mater. Her artworks invite viewers to lose themselves in distinctive scenes rich in vibrant colors from her inner-world.

    Paintings on display include her signature works Password to the Heaven, Sleepwalker, Afternoon and Absence of Mind.

When: Until August 18

Sino-Dutch Contemporary Art Exhibition @ Songzhuang Art Center

A group exhibition titled "Living-Being" that opened to the public at Songzhuang Art Center last Saturday celebrates the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the Netherlands.

    It aims to display what culture, society and the environment means to artists from different backgrounds. The exhibition will also provide dialogue between artists from the two different countries showcasing their paintings and installations.

When: 3-5 pm, until September 9

MSF Photo Exhibition @ Kubrick Book Store

Médecins Sans Frontières is an international, independent medical humanitarian organization that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflicts, epidemics, natural disasters and exclusion from healthcare.

     Photos at the exhibition featuring some of the grim conditions at the frontline depict their humanitarian mission without borders for viewers.

When: 11 am-10 pm, until August 5
