"Beating Time" concert @ Mao Livehouse

A concert titled "Beating Time" will rock Mao Livehouse this Saturday night led by bands including Raging Mob, Bing Yong, Fuzzy Mood and Sacrifice. Li Nan, frontman of band Zero-One, will also perform. The concert is Li's farewell Beijing gig before he leaves for the US to study.

Song and Hua @ Mako Livehouse

Chinese folk music duo Song Dongye and Hua Zhou return to Mako Livehouse this Friday on the first leg of their national tour. The duo will play several traditional Chinese folk songs, including "Hey Undershorts," "Lillian" and "We Love the World." Fellow Chinese folk musician Yao Shisan performs in support.

Cao Wusheng @ Jianghu Bar

Rock legend Cao Wusheng makes his much anticipated comeback after a hiatus spanning several years. Cao, who is also the frontman of rock outfit Night Duke, returns to the stage Thursday night performing familiar songs at favorite live venue haunt Jianghu Bar.
