The official website of the Communist Party of China's (CPC) discipline watchdog has received a daily average of 827 tip-offs of corruption since its launch on September 2, the website said on Tuesday.

The website received over 24,800 reports in the first month, while the watchdog got an average of 300 reports each day between April and August without the website.

The website, www.ccdi.gov.cn, was jointly opened by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the CPC and the Ministry of Supervision, and was viewed to show the determination of the new administration to fight corruption and interact with the public.

As of October 2, more than 4,200 Net users had registered to the website and posted over 3,500 messages.

The website consists of 10 sections, including an online forum where the public can leave their opinions and proposals as well as ask questions about anti-corruption work.
