Beijing's first elderly-themed park, Wanshou Park in Xicheng district, opened on September 28 after months of reconstruction since April, based on the original architecture and facilities of the park, reported the Beijing Evening News.

Gym equipments suitable for the elderly, cobblestone pathways, handrails and others new facilities have been installed. The park also has full WiFi coverage and full video surveillance.
