On August 21, a reception for celebrating the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Nepal took place at the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries in Dongcheng district. Over 100 people were invited to the event, including government officials, envoys, businessmen, media and friendly groups. The Vice Chairman of China's National People's Congress Standing Committee Qiangba Puncog joined the Nepalese Ambassador to China Mahesh Kumar Maskey at the event, and presented the ambassador a memorable copper medal that marks the friendship between the two countries.
