Wang Jiarui, male, ethnic Han, born in September 1949, native of Qinhuangdao, Hebei Province, PhD in economics, senior economist. Member of the Communist Party of China (CPC) since October 1973.

Serving as head of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, Wang is a member of the 18th CPC Central Committee and vice-chairperson of the 12th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
