The 2011 Chery A3 is priced at 77,800-100,080 yuan, announced Chery at the launching event of the new A3 in Xiamen, Fujian Province Thursday afternoon.

There are eight 2011 A3 models being launched Thursday, including four sedan models:1.6L DVVT Agrressive, priced at 77,800yuan; 1.6L DVVT VTI-S, priced at 87,800 yuan; 1.8L Aggressive, priced at 90,800 yuan; 1.8 L VTI-S, priced at 100,080 yuan; and four hatchback models:1.6L DVVT Agrressive SUV, priced at 75,800 yuan; 1.6L DVVT VTI-S, priced at 82,800 yuan; 1.8L Aggressive , priced at 88,800 yuan; 1.8 L VTI-S, priced at 95,800 yuan.

Chery's sales target this year is of 420,000 units with almost half of it having already been achieved in the first half of 2010, Ma Deji, sales manager of Chery told the Global Times after the launching ceremony.
