Low-carbon life Bible – Tip 1: Buy energy-saving air-conditioners

- Energy-saving air-conditioners offer the same cooling efficiency with less energy consumption.
- If every family in China buys energy-saving air-conditioners, a total of 3.3 billion kWh of electricity can be saved annually. The amount of saved energy is equal to shutting down a 600,000 kilowatt fossil fuel power plant and cut 3.3 million tons of greenhouse gas emissions annually.

Global warming has brought about the frequency and intensity of typhoons, droughts and flood, as well as the acceleration of glacier melting and species becoming extinct. The cause of global warming is carbon dioxide (CO2) emitted by the consumption of fossil fuels, such as coal and petroleum. This gas is trapped in the atmosphere and causes temperatures to rise.

To save the globe and our beautiful planet, we promote an environmental life with a low-carbon footprint. Let us start with the little things in life!

1 kWh electricity = 0.4 kg coal + 4 liters water + 1 kg carbon dioxide + 0.03kg sulfur dioxide
