- An 11W energy-saving light bulb is equal to a normal light bulb of 60W when turned on, but uses 80 percent less energy.
- If 1.2 billion of energy-saving light bulbs are used in China, the amount of saved energy would be equal to the total amount of energy generated by the Three Gorges Dam annually.
Global warming has brought about the frequency and intensity of typhoons, droughts and flood, as well as the acceleration of glacier melting and species becoming extinct. The cause of global warming is carbon dioxide (CO2) emitted by the consumption of fossil fuels, such as coal and petroleum. This gas is trapped in the atmosphere and causes temperatures to rise.
To save the globe and our beautiful planet, we promote an environmental life with a low-carbon footprint. Let us start with the little things in life!
Remember the formula:
1 kWh electricity = 0.4 kg coal + 4 liters water + 1 kg carbon dioxide + 0.03kg sulfur dioxide
