- Energy will be consumed as long as the plug is plugged into the electric socket. So pull the plug out after you shut down your computers or turn your televisions off.
- If everyone pulls the plugs out of the electric socket after switching off electronic devices, a total of 18 billion kWh of electricity will be saved, an amount three times the annual energy generated by the Dayawan Nuclear Plant.
Global warming has brought about the frequency and intensity of typhoons, droughts and flood, as well as the acceleration of glacier melting and species becoming extinct. The cause of global warming is carbon dioxide (CO2) emitted by the consumption of fossil fuels, such as coal and petroleum. This gas is trapped in the atmosphere and causes temperatures to rise.
To save the globe and our beautiful planet, we promote an environmental life with a low-carbon footprint. Let us start with the little things in life!
Remember the formula:
1 kWh electricity = 0.4 kg coal + 4 liters water + 1 kg carbon dioxide + 0.03kg sulfur dioxide
