- Clothes consume a great amount of energy during its production and transportation. If everyone buys one less piece of clothing per year, there will be 6.4 kg less carbon dioxide and 2.5 kg of coal saved.
- If 25 million people buy one less piece of clothing per year, there will be less 160,000 tons of carbon dioxide and 625,000 tons of coal saved.
Global warming has brought about the frequency and intensity of typhoons, droughts and flood, as well as the acceleration of glacier melting and species becoming extinct. The cause of global warming is carbon dioxide (CO2) emitted by the consumption of fossil fuels, such as coal and petroleum. This gas is trapped in the atmosphere and causes temperatures to rise.
To save the globe and our beautiful planet, we promote an environmental life with a low-carbon footprint. Let us start with the little things in life!
Remember the formula:
1 kWh electricity = 0.4 kg coal + 4 liters water + 1 kg carbon dioxide + 0.03kg sulfur dioxide
